In plain words

We keep only what you send us so we can call you back about a car key job. None of it is ever sold, and this website runs no analytics and no advertising tracking.

Who we are

This site belongs to Car Key Experts, a mobile car locksmith working out of Nampa, Idaho. If anything here raises a question, call us at (208) 480-6980.

What the forms collect

The booking form and the callback form ask for your name, a phone number and the type of job. The other fields, such as where the car is, the time you would like, the vehicle’s year, make and model, and your notes, carry whatever you choose to type. We use all of it only to call you back about that job and to do the work.

How a request travels

A form goes over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to this website’s server, which passes it on as a message to a private group in a business messaging app that our dispatch team works from. Along the way the server adds your internet (IP) address, a rough city and region, and the page you sent it from (which also shows whether you used the English or Spanish pages), and the page notes how long the form was open. We use those extra details only to catch spam and fake requests sent over and over. The site itself is hosted by Cloudflare, whose systems keep technical logs for security and to run the service.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not use them for advertising. Beyond our dispatch team and the services that carry a request (Cloudflare and the messaging app), nobody receives them unless the law requires it.

No tracking on this site

This website has no Google Analytics, no Meta (Facebook) Pixel and no other analytics or advertising tracking, and it sets no cookies for tracking or ads. If that ever changes, this policy changes first, before any such tool is added.

Reviews shown here

Any customer reviews shown on this site come from our own review service, which copies them from our public business listing on Google. On pages that show reviews, your browser asks that service for the reviews of the page you are reading; the request carries no cookies and nothing you typed into a form.

ID and ownership papers

Ownership papers are checked in person at the car, before any work starts. This website has no place to upload them and never asks for them.

Your choices

You can call (208) 480-6980 to find out which of your details we have, and to have them corrected or deleted.

Changes to this policy

Any change to this policy gets a new date at the top of the page.
